Gatwick - Shanghai - Narita

In middle of January, I flew to Narita airport via Shanghai. For me, it was the first time stop over in China. Shanghai airport is very clean, but transit there is not that easy. It took a while through the security and passport controle.

At Narita airport, the first thing I did was bought a Mentaiko (Spicy cod roe) and an Ebi-ten (Prawn Tempura) Onigiri, a can of Premium Malt's beer one of my favorite beers. My daughter Mina was quite sick when we arrived, so we decided to stay in a hotel near the airport before we continued our jiourney to my home town of Kanazawa. The hotel was quite cheap to stay and it has an Onsen (hot spring). We really love Onsen, so when we got there, we both had a bath right away!! I felt sooooo much better after a long trip from England. On the ground floor of the hotel, there is a Konbini (Convenience Store). It is so handy!! We just had a dinner from the Konbini, Niku-man (pork bao-bun), American dog (Corn dog), an instant noodle dish called Cup of Noodle with a can of delicious Yebisu beer which is my absolute favorite. It was a really cheap and cheerful dinner. I didn't care how unhealthy it was.
